We are pleased to introduce Cameron Bennett, our lead presenter and founder of Active Shoulder Clinical Seminars. Cameron builds all of the ASCS courses and seminars and develops each syllabus using his extensive background in orthopedic medicine and rehabilitation.
Cameron Bennett, MPhty (MSK), BSc (Pharm.), MPT, CSCS
Cameron is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist from Melbourne University, Australia. Cameron has dedicated the majority of his clinical experience to developing new assessment and treatment strategies for shoulder pain. His awareness of the major literature and clinical gaps have led him on a search for better outcomes by refining strategies for a variety of shoulder disorders.
He intially completed a Bachelor of Science studying Pharmacology, Anatomy and Physiology immediately followed by a Bachelor of Physiotherapy over the next four years. He returned to Melbourne University to complete his Master’s degree over another two years, helping to strengthen his focus on shoulder disorders.
Cameron now works primarily as a clinician treating a variety of shoulder disorders along with any associated upper quadrant problems. He maintains two busy clinical practices in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has gained various insights through his Master’s program, learning and studying with a variety of excellent clinicians and researchers, along with continually refining his methods over the past 15 years.
Cameron has also worked as an academic teaching in physiotherapy programs, recently published researcher and ongoing clinical educator to the physiotherapy and medical professions. His main interests are now focussed on specialized clinical work and its application in the medical and rehabilitation fields.
